Birth Mother's Day (2021) / myLot

That's what today, May 8th is. Or was, since it's now after 10pm. Didn't do much because neither the fiance or I felt too good after we woke up. But I did order myself some cheese breadsticks with a candy cookie from our pizza place. Then after we cuddled to rest up some, the two of us and my mom went to the mall to pick up something the fiance ordered online last night. Which we then ended up staying longer to play some games at the arcade and looking at some Disney jewelry at Kay Jewelers, before grabbing some pretzels at Auntie Anne's. Plus I wore my airbrushed 'Birth Mom Strong' tee all day, and my 'Mama Est 2008, Savannah' zip up hoodie when we went out. Also took more pictures with the fiance. Lol.

I had no idea that there was a birth mom's day, but happy birth mom's day-one day late.

It is nice that you can celebrate one day and then celebrate with your mother the next.

Since birth mothers made it a thing in 1990. It's just not talked about like mother's day.

Sounds like a pretty good day but I know how hard it has to be for you as well to even have to celebrate this day and not be able to be with your daughter.

@Courtlynn You're welcome! Love you too! I like both options, I just prefer the pepperoni pretzel. Sometimes I get a combo - pepperoni pretzel and a Dr. Pepper.
