What do you do when someone asking a donation or charity online? I do see many such ad where someone is critically diseased and don't have money for the surgery or treatment. If you personally ask me I never have donated anything for such people due to the fear that my bank account may not be hacked or I may not get harmed once I donate. Anyone here has donated to such people ? Picture taken from pixabay

I would never give to anyone who is asking online, we have enough in our own city that we can help and make sure the money is not for a scam.

Even if you donate for charity then also you never know it's being used to the needy people.

Exactly! There are enough reliable organisations one can donate money to and know that it reaches the people who need it.

No. I think the best thing to do is to refer them to institution that aims to help people like this so that their background can be checked.

Not really, the same fear. Plus the fear of fraudulent money transfer. What if they are just lying? and keeping the money to themselves.
