Today is Mother's Day for many of us. A difficult day. But I am making the most from all of the memories I have.
Losing my Mom at 14 left a hole in my heart. It remains forever. I have 14 years of memories to treasure.
Dustin was taken away when he was 16. Again, I am left with 16 years of memories. Every day these memories get me through the day. I cannot imagine not having these years with my loved ones.
Trying to see the glass half full as often as possible. Make life less stress free.
A friend sent this image to me a few years ago.

A beautiful image with beautiful words.
These memories are things to be grateful for today. Our loved ones are close to us every time they come to mind, every time we speak their name.

@CarolDM I think those colors can represent the colors of life. We have dark moments sometimes, but it is what we do to overcome them, and how we choose to live our lives that count. I know every day you honor your son by what you do, and how you choose to remember him.

Your friend knew how hard a day it is for you with so many memories. I am sorry about the losses you have suffered in your life. 14 is very very young to lose your Mom. Did your Dad remarry? If so, what was your Stepmom like? I hope you got through the day ok.

As always, I'm so sorry that you had your Mother and son taken away from you at an early age. I am here for you. Try and have a good week.

That's a beautiful image and a wonderful message there. It just touched my heart. I feel the same way for loved ones whom I have lost. And some of them have succumbed to the virus recently.
Stay strong and positive. It's saying that our love goes beyond our materialistic life

It's so nice and very needed today, for I lost mine in 2017, she was 91. I got her pictures all over my home. Just what I needed your compassionate post.
