Today I will cook at Dixie´s There are some abalone left (Concholepas concholepas) so I´ll make a picante de locos. I found online that this smaller abalone came from Chile and Perú and that might be the reason why there is this Peruvian dish that my grandma taught me. See you later. It´s tome to begin the day.

Those small abalones sound so tasty, I enjoyed abalone in California, most people do not like, I do.

I used to eat them a lot. But they sold so many to Japan that the Chilean abalone became an endangered species. Now, fishermen have a fishing season for them.

@LadyDuck When I was a child I ate then for the first time. The size of each was around the palm of my hand. Now they are a little over one dollar coins

It will. Although not as good as it was before because probably I will add less abalone than in my original recipe.
