I'm a bubble head

I need some laughter right now so I will admit that I like being in my own little bubble, doing my thing, not venturing out too far from the usual. Minding my own business, toodling again on Facebook and there was the posting from Hades. The sister of a lady that I've known from before university days, announced that the lady is now on hospice. Yup. Hospice. They live across the state from me. I told hubby what I'd read. He said "You'd better go before it's too late." So I guess I will emerge from my bubble. First up: taking the car to Midas to have it looked over. Car sounds normal and boring but driving over a steep mountain pass? Better have the mechanics give it a look see first. The car look see will be on this coming Thursday afternoon. Friday afternoon I will have my backpack loaded up and head out on my five hour drive West. Sweet, green fir trees and traffic and final farewells.
