Biden cracks down on unemployment

The April jobs report wasn't so great. It has been announced that President Biden has said that Americans must accept jobs offered to them or lose their unemployment benefits. I have no problem with that. More people should be working.
I just don't know how anyone would know what is up. Would the potential employer have to report it to federal government? It isn't like the potential employee would and lose their benefits.
I am interested to see how this policy will be implemented.

President Biden on Monday pledged to enforce unemployment insurance laws so that no American can "game the system" to get paid not to work – but maintained that sweetened jobless benefits are not to blame for the lackluster April jobs report.

I agree. Americans do need to get back to work. All the extensions and extra pay have made them not want to work. And, well, we need to to strengthen the ecconomy. It's not like places aren't hiring.

People should be required to fill job openings, whenever they become available.

How does that work?
this means people have to accept any job they are offered,
They can't negotiate with other employers in terms of their salary requests.

Some people enjoyed the benefits that they got without working and now do not want to go back to work. Sad really.

Ohio had that. You have to list the places you contacted. Then the office can contact that place to see if you did.

I'm glad he is tightening up the unemployment procedure. Too many people are making so much money on unemployment that they don't want to work.

I just think he is trying to save face. There is no way they can track this. This is a back end admission that the stimulus and the unemployment extensions were stupid and proof they do more harm than good. This whole Covid thing has been a total joke from day one and it is becoming more and more evident each day that goes by.
Fake pandemic, fake crisis...
Just to win a frigging election. What a bunch of losers.
