Update on the gas situation it is bad

All the stations closest to me are out of gas, and I heard that on the main highway they are out also. The Exxon station by me is not answering their phone, but said they may have some later today or by Friday for sure. However, there are lots of work vehicles that fill up there..who knows how long that shipment will last.? Supposed to have a doctor's appointment tomorrow..roomie has gas but I don't know how much. He is running around town today. I have about a quarter of a tank, plus a gallon or gallon and a half that I was going to use for the mower..It probably isn't enough to get to town and back, although under normal circumstances it might be, but I just want to conserve what I have. I may have to get them to call in meds for me tomorrow, if I can't get there. Yikes, first we had to scramble to get shots now it is gas apparently...

A friend had to go to 8 different places to find gas. There aren't many gas stations around her, so it was quite a drive on fumes!

@snowy22315 Oh gosh, don't remind me of that! We went and called everywhere! Ended up buying kleenex but luckily didn't have to resort to that.

There was a cyber attack on a major pipeline affecting gas supply in the Southeast. All the local stations here are out of gas.

My husband sent a whatsapp message to our friends from our Congregation. The report was similar; many gas stations along the main road in our town are closed right now.

The one closest to me hasn't been answering their phone..
. I tried to get some earlier..they weren't sure when their next shipment is coming in. They said they think for sure on Friday, but who knows when...and there are a lot of big work trucks that fill up there. They could wipe it out in a few hours.

@snowy22315 I have read that the pipeline restarted operations yesterday late in the day. The problem should be over now.

It is on the East coast primarily the South. There was a cyber attack on the Colonial pipeline one of the main pipelines for this region.

I think 50 percent of stations are out in the state...and like 100 percent of the stations around me. I heard of a station that has it..but with my luck I would use all my gas getting there and they would run out. They aren't too close to here.

It will...it is primarily here in the SE that the gas situation is bad. Of course people are hoarding it as well.
