our neighbors are making rumors about us

They even made some about me and I've never interacted with any of them. A friend of my mom just told her that one of our neighbors said that when the gate is gonna be finished they'd never let us pass on their road because mom is this and that, so strict and "maarte"(no idea how to translate that in English). They said out family is so loud and does karaoke, and that "I" shout at people too... When have I ever done that? I don't remember us ever having a party at our house, a karaoke??? We always keep to ourselves here... I think they are just projecting. But mom is kinda mad because I was included, hopefully our neighbors will get what they deserve.. karma and all that.

Oh, that is so rude. Just because you do not interact with them they would make stories about you and your family. I think they are just jealous of you that they try to make stories about your family. It is just not nice to stay in a place where rumor-mongering is still a favorite pastime. I hope they would change for the better there.

That's what i tell my mom too, i doubt they'll every change , i just hope what bad things they do to others will come back to them too.

My neighbours already give up to make stories about me. They used to say I didn't socialize and all that. I don't care what they think.

A suggestion that I can give to you is just to ignore them. They will be more annoyed if they see that you seem not to be affected at all by their bad action.
