Good morning from this side of the planet. It's 10 AM as I write this post. It's a bright sunny morning. After some light shower in the night, we woke up to a lovely weather with pleasant breeze. I woke up late from my usual time. I woke up around 6:45 AM. I didn't realise that I missed my alarm. And husband didn't trouble to wake me up. He lets me sleep as long as I want or whenever I want as that's a way for my body to heal. Done with few light morning chores and my breakfast. Today I made this sevai/ vermicelli upma and you can see that in the picture here. It's an Indian breakfast that is healthy and yummy with loads of veggies in it.. And so many colours on my plate always makes me happy. We have finished the puzzle on Tuesday. We took less time with this one. I will make another post with the picture today. And trust me puzzles are addictive.. We have ordered another one from Amazon with 2000 pieces and it should be here next week. Nothing much on my to do list today. I will rest for a while and mylot. Then cook lunch- a simple meal of rice, lentil soup and mixed veg. My husband and daughters are cleaning up the house, dishes and spreading the laundry load to dry as I rest. It's good when every member shares the work load of household chores. They have really taken good care of me and the house in last one month since I got the virus. I plan to rest and mylot. Hope to make a few posts here and catch up with the latest ones. Stay safe, happy and healthy in your mylot corner.

You're doing the right thing by resting and taking your time to recover your good health. It's also good to exercise your lungs by doing breathing exercises so that your oxygen intake will improve.

I am very regular to my yoga and Pranayam. And in this post covid recovery phase, I make sure that I do it without missing it. And ample rest and good diet with enough fluids are the way to heal body and recover. I am going slow and listening to my body.

I love the food that I see in this photo, good and healthy. You are right to continue to rest and take it easy. It is better go to little by little until you are fully recovered.

@arunima25 I remember the happy days when my mother did all the cooking and I only had to enjoy food. Your daughter is lucky.

@LadyDuck Oh! Those were blissful days. I wished my mom was here when I got the virus. Her food and home remedies would have made me feel so better. But then my daughter and husband took good care of me. And they are still pampering me.

It's quite delicious and yummy too. It's my younger daughter's favourite and she had to wait for more than a month to have this. She can cook it but she likes it more when I do that. So she waited patiently for me to recover and enter the kitchenElse this dish comes weekly on our table either as breakfast or dinner. She just relishes it

The picture tells that the breakfast is delicious and yummy. It is good on your part that you are able to do cooking etc., even when you are recapturing. It is wiser to prepare simple food so that everyone could enjoy. Good to hear that your family is supporting you like anything and they contribute as much as possible. Take care of yourself.

@arunima25 Yes, I can understand that illness did make an affect on you and you used to feel weakness after illness. It is good to hear that in the absence of house maid, your family members kept supporting you. Yes, everything is fine here, we are staying at home only.

@dpk262006 Well, that is one lesson this lockdown has taught to children. They always helped in little ways. But staying without a help for six months last year made them learn a lot more chores. And even when I allowed my maid after September last year, her movement around and work was limited keeping the covid norms and safety in mind. So we were still doing cooking and kitchen work on our own. Staying home is the safest thing to do right now. The virus is lurking everywhere. Have you got your vaccination?

I entered kitchen from 15 th day cooking light meals. I had severe headache, fatigue and weakness. Thankfully no fever and cough or other symptoms. And the symptoms were only for four days. I came out of my room after 15 days but continued with mask and covid norms for another two weeks. My family is very supportive. As such also they share load of chores. Especially in lockdown when there is no househelp. It gives me my personal time and keeps me sane Hope all well at your end.

Oh! Did you too get it? Are you vaccinated? I am glad to see you too. You are not so frequent these days. Fortunately, I had mild symptoms and four days of headache, fatigue and weakness. No other complications like fever, cough or anything. Could recover in home isolation without unnecessary medications and treatment. But yes, weakness stayed for long.

@arunima25 I got vaccination on April 3. I got weakness from April 25 and on the 4th day I lost smell for two days. I had no fever but weakness and headache. I too hadn't any complications fever, cough etc. I recovered without visiting hospital or medicines. Due to the rush in hospitals I have not gone for testing. Now I am confused as my second doze of vaccination is due. Don't know what to do, whether to go for vaccination or not.

Good afternoon. It is 1.30 in the afternoon now and it is partly hazy. It has been so since morning. There is warning from met department for possible heavy rains with gusty winds tomorrow. It is still weeks to go before monsoon sets up here. Nice to know that you are recovering from the infection fast. Have a nice day.

We had heavy rain and thunderstorm since last two evening. It was light shower in the night later. It's a full month of my virus infection. I am all okay now but going slow. Doctor has advised to be careful and not do sterneous activities for couple of months. So listening to the body and taking enough rest

It's seen that after a person gets recover from covid he/she feels weakness . Few of my colleagues also feel like their body doesn't support them. You should take rest as much as possible. My wife too after the first dose of vaccination is feeling too weak and my kids do all the household chores as I have to reach office by 6 am. And sometimes I feel guilty as I am not able to support my wife at this time.

I felt weak for almost 10 days post recovery. Now I am better but particular to avoid overstressing myself. Doctor was very particular about that. I should avoid any exertion for couple of months. Though we look healthy from outside, the body takes long to recuperate after this virus. So it's wise to go slow. You are thoughtful about your wife and that matters6 AM is pretty early and so you can not do much. You have wonderful children and you should be proud of them. God bless them

It's a 2000 piece puzzle that my daughters ordered and husband paid for it. I will share it later. This was 1500 pieces that my friend gave in exchange of our 1500 piece puzzle. We had finished it. I had a post about it with the picture of the finished puzzle. If I am not mistaken, I had already posted the recipe here some time back when one mylotter asked for it. I am sure you must be knowing it.

Hi Dianne! Good to see you after so long. You seem too busy these days in offline fun. Not came across you much lately. I am taking things slow. Though not feeling weak anymore but I am going to be in a slow mode till June. My doctor says that though you feel good, the inner body needs a longer time to heal after this virus. And so no exhaustive work for few months. Hope to see you more here.

I have been married for 21 years now and known each other more than 27 years. He knows that if I am oversleeping, it must be because my body needs it. We develop that unspoken understanding if we are in a relation for that long My daughters are 17 and 14.

@cool83 My children started with age-appropriate chores from a very young age. I encouraged them to do chores around the house since they were toddlers. They would be around me helping with their little hands. I guess doing chores together is a good way to bond and learn real life skills.

My younger daughter's absolute favorite. In fact, the whole family enjoys it but she is crazy about it.Though she can cook it, she prefers my cooking. And she had to wait for a month for it. We have it at least once a week either as breakfast or dinner. Next time when mom visits, learn it so that you can enjoy it whenever you crave it.
