Day 275 Promise 743 Revelation 1:7 Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. All of us can tell where they were when certain events happened in their lives. You know where you were and you know what you were doing. You might even remember what you were wearing. John told the churches Jesus would come in the clouds. When He did, every eye would see Him, including those who crucified Him. His return will bring wailing from all those who rejected Him as Messiah and Lord. As Christians, you wait for the day Jesus returns in the clouds, an event mentioned by the angels when He ascended to heaven. Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. For Christians, it will be a day of rejoicing. For those who rejected Him, it will be a day of regret. Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (KJV) Every eye will see Him and every tongue will confess Him. For those who rejected Him, it will be too late. Let’s pray: Father, I wait for the day when Your Son, Jesus, returns in the clouds. My tongue gives You praise for all You did for me. Let me be a witness of Your love for me and all mankind. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
