Happy Thursday Everyone! a bright sunny day here with pretty blue skies. No complaints with the weather today. Today is my grandsons 16th birthday. Sweet 16 He's been sweet from the moment he entered the world. I called him early this morning before he had to start school. Tomorrow is my youngest daughters birthday. She's having a hard time because this will end her 40's. Next year will be the big one. With both my grandson and my daughter being only a day apart in birthdays it's funny that both of them were born on Mothers Day. My middle daughter will end the May birthdays at the end of the month. Aside from other relatives and friends May is a busy month for celebrating here. The next big month is July! then the cycle starts again. Aside from birthdays nothing much is new. Saturday we're supposed to get the driveway resealed. I have no idea what time they'll start but they have quite a few to do here in the community. Guess we'll have to put the car on the street just in case we need to go somewhere. Don't want to get stuck if the car is in the garage and we can't drive over the newly sealed pavement. The next thing on the list is waiting to hear from the guy about the deck. He said by the end of the month. Both jobs will certainly make a dent in my piggy bank Anyway, I'm going to get this day going. I still haven't had breakfast and I'm starting to get hungry. Have a good one my friends

Happy happy birthday to them both today. I remember my 16th birthday, it was shortly after that where I had to learn to drive.

@Marilynda1225 I didn't want to learn to drive, but we lived about 10 miles out in the country, and my older brother developed epilepsy when he was 15, so he needed to be driven into work to his part time job as well as I did and my Dad encouraged me to get my license as my mother couldn't be making so many trips.

You have a month of celebrations. Happy birthday to your grandson today. It is a holiday here today (Ascension Day), we went for a long walk because the weather was fine. As we are not allowed to use noisy machines during the holidays I did nothing in the garden today. I have to trim some bushes, but I want to use the electric trimmer.

Happy Birthday to All Oh are you getting handsome gypsy guys to blacktop the driveway? Believe it or not, I used to travel with a crew of those guys with a girl I used to know. I could probably reseal a driveway myself I learned so much

But those jobs will be done for a few years hopefully. Happy birthday to both. I was a mothers day present when I was born also.

Happy Birthday to your grandson and daughter. I hope they both have great days. It's interesting how those cycles go. It used to start in March in my family, with my grandson, and conclude in January. Now there are a few gaps due to deaths in the family. My brother's was this month. May the Fourth be with you. Now it skips June and rushes into July with mine, my older son's, and my two great-granddaughters. Did the housing association require you to seal your driveway too? Have a great day.
