The House On Low Side

United States
May 13, 2021 8:31pm CST
You all recall me talking about the house on the low side of the road, and mine being on the high side. Well today, I found out that the people who live on the low side, no longer lives there. I was told they had to move because the area flooded and damaged the house. It's a new double wide trailer not old at all. But the water had caused a lot of damage. So they had to move. Ssid the owner is in the hospital suffering with gout. I hope she can have it repaired. It was such a nice house.

That's the problem with low lying areas. It's sad they had to move due to flooding. I'm just glad I no longer live in a low-lying area.

@popciclecold If the flooding damaged it to the point it's deemed unlivable, they won't.

I hope she had home insurance, mobile homes don't fair all that well with water damage. I wonder if they still use particle board for the main structural flooring.

That's a shame that the house has been damaged so much. Flood water does that.

It is really not good to live in a low side place. I hope they can find a much better place to live. Where they don`t have to leave their homes when a bad weather comes along
