A cat survives a five story fall from a burning building

A black cat who jumped off of a burning building in Chicago Illinois from a height of five stories is lucky to be alive since the cat landed on all four paws on a grass section of the ground. I have written stories in the past on this site of humans who are trained to rescue cats from trees from heights since they do not have the skills to climb down trees without falling down and getting injured or dying from the impact of the landing to the ground. The incident where the building was burning in Chicago took place on Thursday after the local firefighters arrived to put out the fire. The cat must have some kind of Guardian Angel since after the cat landed on the grass, he simply walked away from the burning building without showing any effects of an injury. The cat is in search of his owner, the good news is that no one was injured in the fire that was confined to one apartment. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the authorities.
