This is the story of four young women who are having to cope with the loss of their mother , Barabara. When Barbara knew she did not have much time left, she decided to write each of her daughters a letter because there were many things that she wanted to say to them and she thought it would help them to cope with life without her. This is how we learn what an interesting life Barbara had lived, and her daughters found many secrets that they might not have wanted to know.

At least the daughter was able to know and understand what her mum wanted of her and how much she cared.

Yes the mother did care a lot for all her daughters. She had made mistakes along the way, but she explained everything in the letters.

I think it was thoughtful of the mother to write a letter for her girls. I think it might make them feel closer when she is gone. It sounds like a book I would love to read.

It was published several years ago, but you may be able to find a used copy somewhere.
