For some reason I have been on a kick of coloring pictures for friends.
I did this for a friend because she's a strong woman but sometimes you just need that little boost of strength from a friend or family member.
I finished it on the 13th and I have yet to gift it to her.

I color sometimes too. In fact, I usually do it right before I write.
I usually throw mine away but I kept one that said "Feed Your Soul"

@JordanLader That's so sweet of you to do!
I used to keep mine, but then I didn't like the clutter and so now I color and recycle them.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I did but then I liked comparing them when I did the same picture a different way si I just put them in a file folder now in our file cabinet. It's a back folder.

I have a small folder that I keep mine in unless I gift them. I have a friend that I color inspiring words for and she keeps them on her fridge as reminders she can make it through the day.

I love doodling and colouring. It's kind of stress burster for me. That's a beautiful design and a lovely depiction of strength. We make such designs for our traditional rangoli.

@JordanLader Yes, I have seen many mandala art with a significant word to describe it.
Mandala has therapeutic effects. It cools and calms your mind and helps with attention and focus

I have a coloring book of signs and their meanings. That's where this one came from

No. I just gift the picture and let them decide what they want to do with it. That way they don't feel obligated to keep it.

It's very pretty. I like it. I have some mandalas to colour sometime.

I think there is a belief about mandalas. Something about inner peace and continuity?

@sharonelton I used to own a few mandala coloring books. I stopped coloring and sold / gave them away. The one I really liked was called "groovy manadalas" I think.

I tried that but I would rather pick my own colors. Plus it kills the battery on my phone too fast. I prefer actual pen or pencil to paper.
