Well, it's up there

I crocheted the fourth coaster. Decided to start the listing at $10 since one coaster is smaller than the other. We'll see if I get any bites. After shipping and the % FB takes, I'll make about $9.53. Not too bad I suppose. I selected to just have it advertised via facebook marketplace and not any of the local groups since I want to do shipping only. Will have to print label and go to walmart to buy packaging when it sells. How's your day going? *picture is of smallest coaster*

I think it looks great! Good luck on selling the coaster....and making $9.53 doesn't sound too bad (not sure the time and money it took to put into it)

$2.00 for the cost of yarn, and an hour of work give or take... I may not get any bites since once is smaller than the others, but we shall see. If I don't get any bites after awhile I'll put it down to $8. Going to make more things to list soon.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Well that doesn't sound too bad then. And hopefully you will even if it is smaller...but that's a good plan to lower the price if it doesn't after a while.

Are there similar products on there? I usually just see big ticket items.

There are some similar stuff up there, yeah. I haven't seen any other cat coasters though. I'm thinking of trying my hand at wash cloths again. The problem is that the last time I made them they were skewed. I've also thought about getting scrubby yarn and making scrubbies. For now though, I am going to see how these do.

@BearArtistLady That's an idea, but I'll need to do some research. I think I've heard contradicting statements about whether yarn is safe for cats/

@ScribbledAdNauseum You might try cat toys. I know my pair love crocheted cat toys with a touch of cat nip in them. They don't have to be too large, just large enough so that they don't swallow them.

@RebeccasFarm Oh no! Yes, I don't like such people. Why they have to spread their negativity around is beyond me.

Thanks! I don't think so either. I am considering making a set of four coasters, four place mats and seeing if those sell.
