It’s so beautiful here today! Spent lots of time watering and keeping an eye on my teeny tiny tomatoes and peppers. It excites me to see them growing.
Had two surprise visitors today. First, my husband left his phone in his friend’s car after they met for coffee this morning. His friend called me, but not recognizing the phone number, I didn’t answer. He called, a second time. Still didn’t answer. The third time, I knew something was up and answered. His friend drove here to drop the phone off. Hubs was out shopping and knew exactly where he had left his phone. At least Steve and I had a nice visit.
My second surprise visitor was my younger son. He dropped by to deliver lobster ravioli, sausage ravioli, and Belgian chocolates as well as pick up a new soaker hose for his garden. We had a nice visit and he offered tips on caring for my veggies and flowers. lol
I’m expecting one more visitor. The Fed Ex man is supposed to drop off the pearl necklace I bought for my granddaughter. He better arrive soon, because I just received my Friday date night martini and have to sign for it.
Funny how things happen in threes!

Not everything happens in threes but I'll give you this one, lol. Are you saying after a few martinis you'll be in no condition to sign for the delivery?
Nice that your husband was doing the shopping.
I needed to figure out the rest of supper. I'm grilling steaks tonight and it'll be the first time using the grill since last year. I hope to do some planting and watering as it cools off after supper.

As it turned out, I just received the pearls. No signing or license necessary due to covid. Soooooo beautiful!
Hubs bought more mulch. Dianne doesn’t do mulch.
Enjoy your dinner. We grill in the winter, too. Hubs shovels a bath straight to the grill.3 people like this

@DianneN I've grilled in the winter before but not sure that I will again or not.
My husband can't lift mulch and I'm not much better but I've put it on our dolly and carry it about that way. I got a free pile that we picked up from our church a few years ago that I still have to get on top of the garden areas once the weeds are gone.

@MarshaMusselman Oh, those darn weeds. I hurt my thumb pulling some yesterday. I could barely open the pearls that arrived a little while ago. Hubs had to help.

He did arrive midway through it. No license or signature required due to covid he said. Fine by me. The pearls are fabulous!!!!

I couldn't find my phone, it was deep inside my purse underneath my wallet! You had some very nice visitors, hopefully the FedEx delivery came, also. After your first martini, you and hubs won't want any visitors to show up!

Oh, the phone at the bottom on the purse is so annoying. I try to buy purses with phone pouches now, but still throw them into my purse.

That is a lot to happen on a day. The sunshine that is there in the picture makes me think - is it near 40 C in your place?
Or is it that the sun is also shining brightly and you also have cool winds?

Your crop of tomatoes and peppers are looking good. I'll be planting my tomatoes Sunday. What a terrific surprise getting lobster, sausage and chocolate dessert to boot from your son. What a thoughtful thing to do! You trained him well (just kidding).
