I arrived in Frankfurt airport. I just realized that today that I arrived here yesterday 4 decades ago. I checked the date today and found out that I am living here in Germany for that long. Who could have imagine that I will get old here in my husbands country.
Well, I don't celebrate. It is just a normal day for us. I will make fried rice from the leftover rice that I cooked yesterday. We will eat it with veggie salad. That's enough for dinner tonight.
The photo above was the new found place for me and my friend to walk. It is on the other side of the Rhine river. Beautiful place to relax and maybe have a picnic.
How have you been? I hope you will have a nice weekend. Thank you for reading.

Time flies--I moved to Fort Lauderdale 42 years ago and I would swear it was just a couple of years ago!! Sadly, the older we get the faster time seems to go by!!!

Thank you @DianneN. Well, my hubby said that I am no longer 100% Filipina. I already open my mouth and say what I want and fight back when someone is rude to me.
He taught me to do so to be able to survive in his country.
Yes, it is a beautiful place to walk. Yes, I had a wonderful relaxing weekend.

Wow, so you must feel very German at this point. 40 years is a long time to live anywhere.

Oh wow, quite a long time!
I have not walked today, nor did I walk yesterday. I am doing good, crocheting a waffle stitch dish cloth.

Yes, it is a long time @ScribbledAdNauseum.
The weather is bad for walking and so just staying at home. That is a nice stitch. I would love to learn that. I still have some yarn here. Thank you. Enjoy your Saturday.

@thelme55 I do not know if I will even walk tomorrow. Maybe my friend will call and ask if I want to go to the gym, I do not know.
It is an easy stitch. If you know how to do the front post double crochet, it will be easy to pick up.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I have not crocheted for more than a decade. I usually knit. Maybe there is a tutorial online.

That's wonderful. Maybe you just graduated from college when you went there. I also have a cousin who married a German, she's a teacher. She lost her husband tragically few years ago due to frostbites, but she continued living in Germany. She comes to Philippines once in a while before the pandemic.

You are right @florelway. I washing my last year in college when I came here. I think it is better for your cousin to stay here in Germany than in the Philippines. More peace of mind and insured health wise. Thank you.

Yes, it is a long time. I remember that day as I was only wearing a dress and I was shivering because I felt cold although it was already hot weather for the German. Thank you @Butterfingers.
