Budget phones?

I want to buy my dad a phone since we had some extra budget, but only for 7500 pesos (about 150 USD). 
I have my sights on Xiaomi Poco M3 because the specs are amazing and so affordable. Unfortunately I only see it online, and I'd rather buy it in a mall since it's easier to return.
Never tried this brand before though, we've only had Samsung and Asus. Samsung is good, the Asus' screen died after a year even though mom took great care of it. 
Any brand and model suggestions for that price range? What phone do you have right now?

I think Xiaomi is a good company you could go for that. You could search about smart phones online and could buy it online. There are many websites like Amazon etc. which have return policy.

@lady1993 As far as Amazon is concerned, they provide invoice/ printable copy of the bill and as I said earlier they have return policy. I have no idea about other sites, which sell smart phone, online.

Any brand and model suggestions for that price range? Check out Xiaomi Redmi 9A for Php4,990 or Redmi 9C for Php5,690. They have outlets at malls and an official online shop in Lazada.
What phone do you have right now? I'm using a Samsung.

I just lost my huawei bought it in 2019 currently using hubs fone which is tecno camon 17,I have seen nokia 8.3 it's a cool phone.
