Special Surprise Found in the Garden

This is why I always have my camera in my pocket. I was outside filling the bird bath once again. Checking on some of the plants for blooms. And there it was. The first purple bloom on one of the butterfly bushes in Dustin's garden. It is called a Black Knight butterfly bush, due to the deep purple blooms. The other white one has not started blooming yet. Momma tree swallow in the bird house (incubating the eggs) did not seem to mind that I got close to snap this photo. She seems to be getting used to me. I will get more photos as the other blooms show themselves soon.

I would love to have a bush with those kinds of flowers, I don't get a lot of butterflies but I'll bet the hummers would like them.
