Messed up at the bank

Good evening mylot, Yeah today I went to the bank. I wanted to renew my visa card since it got expired a few days ago. But the people were many there so the line was somehow long. I had to wait until I entered and reached the agent. As I was there the agent was called out before completing the process, so I had to wait since he was the one who had started on the process. After sometime, the guy didn't return; so I was directed to the next agent. What surprised me, the guy had gone with the old card and documents and he was no where to be seen. So I was told to go back tomorrow. This guy just wasted my time like that. I felt bad but had nothing to do. Have ever been in such situation?
