Hubby went to get a new battery for our riding lawn mower. The plan was to get it to run, so we could load it into a trailer to find out why it would not engage the blade and cut.
After putting the brand new battery in, guess what? The mower cuts.
In between rain showers hubby got quite a bit done. Yay!
That means hours saved all summer long.

I managed without when we did not have one but there are parts that sometimes get neglected.

We had bought this mower used and I am sure the battery was quite old.

Sometimes what is wrong will surprise you. Glad all that was needed was a new battery.

Small wonder you were so excited ! It turned out to be the battery that pooped out.

It was not too expensive or hard to replace.

I just gave away three that did not work, to a guy who could fix them. Still have two push mowers plus the rider. I should be able to get the work done.

It makes things go so much faster. Because of the rain the grass has grown wildly.
