Our lockdown extended up to 15th June. / myLot

Good afternoon, good evening everybody on mylot. It is 12.40 in the afternoon of Friday, 28th May. It is a rainy day here although not much of rain but drizzling on and off. Appears our monsoon season has begun. Temperature shown at the moment is 32 degrees centigrade but it is not felt due to cool monsoon wind blowing across. Our lockdown has been extended by another 15 days to end on 15th of June. This lockdown started on 1st of May to end on 23rd of May which was further extended to 31st. All small grocery shops along with other essential item shops are open from 7 to 12 in the morning. Our shop along with the factory supplying us decided to remain closed as it would have not been workable as we deal with perishable items. Hope this lockdown is not extended further. Hope everybody is doing well. Have a nice weekend.

We're still in lockdown right now. But based on recent cases, it might be extended as well. I hope the lockdown will help with the cases there. All the best to all of us!

Yes lockdowns have started showing the results but they have also started showing problems in our finances.

Sorry about having your lockdown being extended. I hope it will not anymore be extended again.

Here restaurants are starting to open and accepts dine in to those who got vaccinated.

@msdivkar We are on lockdown for a long time too. Good thing is that while we are on lockdown the vaccination is on going.

The situation is improving gradually. The daily infection cases as recorded in last 24 hours are 186 thousand. These are very large but lowest in last 44 days.
