It’s the start of Memorial Day Weekend so whatever your plans I pray you are safe.
Here I am not planning on much, it’s supposed to be in the triple digits so other than teaching Sunday, and our remembrance of fallen soldiers on Monday, and maybe a quick trip to the mercantile for a few necessities, I just plan on staying close to the air conditioning lol!
Enclosed is the pic of the event in 2019, it was cancelled last year due to the pandemic, but we’re having it again this year. I’ll be going taking the necessary precautions!
Now I’m just going to relax and watch my shows…

Oh Im curious what do you usually do if its memorial day? Is it for American soldiers only?

I’m really not sure about that, but I’d think it’s good to honor all soldiers who fought for our freedoms

Great picture. We are just staying home for the weekend. Hubs is making country style pork ribs with my BBQ sauce; and we'll have hot dogs and potato salad on another day. It was 42 here yesterday. Felt like winter! It should be a lot nicer Sunday and Monday. Have a good weekend; and stay cool!

101 Sunday, 105 Monday they are predicting, I’m hoping those predictions are off lol! Thankfully the remembrance is in the morning, and there’s lots of shade at the cemetery…
