Playing a word out of guessing

Playing scrabble allowed me to learn words I encountered for the first time. Today, out of luck I played the word “quintal”. I knew I can play “quinta” but I have one remaining letter which is L that I tried to add at the end before I moved. Luckily, it was accepted and I earned 102 points for it.
Quintal, according to Google is a unit (old unit) of mass equivalent to a hundredweight.

I like to play scrabble even it makes my headache and scores a little bit :) . Sometimes , i don't think some words to play.
