I think my eldest sister didn't made a wise decision to join this networking business. They were asked to invest 10,000 pesos and invite more as their members. They will earn by giving them products that are insanely expensive to sell supplements, soaps and coffee. They show pictures of their members who now have cars and they promise you to earn 15,000 pesos a day. The company name is Maximum 88 Corporation. Maximum health, infinite wealth

You cannot make me join any site on the internet where I need to spend money first before I can make money and make me sell all sorts of ridiculous products which are ridiculously priced.

Networking is not a scam per se for as long as they do not focus on recruitment as the main source of revenue from their network. That is what makes it a scam when they rely on new members to survive and earn from it.

@averygirl72 Sometimes the products are just a coverup but they are more focused on recruiting members which is wrong in networking. One good example of the right kind of networking practice in Avon products. They are recruiting members but they are not focused on that instead they are focused on the sales of their products beyond recruiting members only.

@rsa101 In Avon you don't need to give a big cash to start with. Their products are not so expensive and it's exciting to try their products. My sister will have a hard time to dispose their products

this is not the only one out there. There are many more. I can say it can be true but it will really takes hard work to get to the level of those with their own cars and houses. You need to have many active downlines to get there

There are many businesses operating that way and you find a lot of them luring you on various social media platforms. They look so promising and many fall for their prey.

As far as I can tell, this is not a pyramid scheme (which is when the income from new members is used to pay for the 'profit' of older members) but a multi-level marketing scheme like Avon and similar, where you make commission on the sale of genuine products. Usually the price of the products is more than you'd normally pay for similar products and you have to work very hard to sell them. Even if there's a market for the products, eventually it becomes saturated and it becomes harder and harder to make any sales. The reason that I say that this is probably not a pyramid scheme is that they publish details of the owners and their trading address and they do have genuine products to sell. On the other hand, 10,000 pesos is a big investment to make initially and to claim that you can make 15,000 a day is quite ridiculous, even if the market is not already saturated! Such companies often make unrealistic claims about how much you can make and may give examples, which are, of course, either selected (if they are genuine) or completely fake.

Yes I actually just compare it to pyramid scams because they say they are networking company. Their claim that you can make 15000 a day or 450,000 a month and you can buy a car is like you smell something fishy. We have boxes now of their products. I feel we are not able to sell it because it's so expensive the products are not that essential. We will end up selling it in low prices. The capital is 10,500 per package
