Yes! This is what Mr. Kerby Gasmena always tag me whenever he sees me on the floor taking calls before. He was our Shift Manager. You can say that he is the typical "terror boss" that you may think of. But as I evaluate him during the past seven months that I stayed in Medialink; he was just being like that not also because it is about work... but he wants to move you--- to change you for the better. The last time that I saw him was at the office; I was getting my clearance done with the Operations when I met him at the reception. I thought; as he glanced at me sharply... he will definitely execute discouraging words that will make you little (as what my batchmates at work before says) but he was just a typical man asking; "Why are you here? What are you doing?" I answered clearly. I resigned. It reminds me last lunch break all of his nagging about overbreaks (yes; we only have 15 minute- break for the whole day and that's it...) Everyone is pissed off; of course. But you can't blame him. It's also part of the 18k/ month work. we need to meet the sales qouta and pushing everyone to give up their break time for more production. It paid off at the end of the year. "Divisoria Girl;" I remembered him one time--- "knowing where you came from should motivate you to do good"... and there goes the sarcastic line: "IF YOU DON'T LOVE YOUR WORK... GO BACK AND BE A SALES LADY AGAIN!" I got used to it eventually. Outbound is crazy. But it will motivate you a lot to do good no matter what the odds is. Thanks to him I never felt more motivated to move on, discover things and do better--- and to move one notch higher. It is his birthday today/yesterday. I am not sure; but I were able to greet him in FB. Hope he's still fine. Thinking about scenarios and crazy mishaves will sometimes demotivate you (like me being kick out from our house because they cannot accept me and Jojo being together and later on; you will realized you end up with a bummer) but it shouldn't stop you from realizing what to do to make things right. Not at the least that you can put it back to normal as it is... It will be impossible. But at the very least; to learn something from it and correct all the hell that breaks loose. Then you will be able to look back at it with a smile on your face. Boss Kirby~~two thumbs up. And for my past mistakes; I know I can use it to step up. Hope you will also have a good reflection today...putting good practices tomorrow will make the plot thickens!

Reading this , I remember my call center days too. Uhm I must say bosses from that type of business line were molded to be tough so that agents would listen and obey. Well we cant deny the fact that thete are also people who are by birth like that , they tslk to you harshly but in reality they just want you to improve.
