Wednesday Chit Chat

Happy Wednesday everyone! It's partly sunny here today and the temperature is decent. Not too hot
I'm feeling much better after my fall. My right side is still sore and bruised but at least I can move around much better than the last two days.
I haven't been able to chat here much so hopefully today I can spend time on the computer and see what's going on.
My oldest daughter came over last night for a visit. It was nice having company.
She told me that her daughter will be going back to her college campus for the Fall semester. My granddaughter is excited and signed a lease for an apartment off campus. She's going to have a roommate which will help offset the expenses plus it will be nice to have company. Now they're going to need everything to furnish the apartment . Since the university and apartment is two hours away it should be interesting to see how they're going to bring everything out there or if they'll just shop there and have it all delivered (which would make more sense to me)
My other grandkids are all wrapping up this school year with tests,etc before ending next week.
Once school ends it always feels like it's officially summer.

I'm so glad you're feeling much better! My kids get out end of next week . . . but they have been virtual all this time. We are thinking hard about what to do this next school year. Getting ready for college is super exciting! In any case, yep, summer is nearly here. Just starting the day here . . .

My grandkids have been doing half a week in school and the other days from home. They're all looking forward to being back in school in September

@Marilynda1225 Ah, they had been on the hybrid schedule! We opted out of that . . . most of the kids in our school district did the same. But come fall, the schools will reopen fully - but we are still debating what to do. The only thing is we start before mid-August.

Glad you are feeling better...not too much just trying to get mystery shops aligned. I have one to do tomorrow for sure.

I'm glad you're not as sore after your fall. Take it easy.
I'm glad your granddaughter signed a lease for an apartment not far from the campus. It would make better sense to order and have the furniture delivered.
I agree. When school is out, summer begins.

WWhen i was still teaching school, these were the countdown days (countdown to freedom for teachers also!)!!
