Another product that doesn't work

Philippines
June 2, 2021 7:00pm CST
Got my newly purchased laptop charger online. But when I tried it on, it won't recognize and recharge. Plus, it gave me a warning that it could affect my computer performance. Sadly, The seller won't refund me unless I return the product at my expensive. But because of the storm, maybe next week. He recommended another charger but I'm having none of it. Have a nice day.

That's one of the cons of paying for a product which you haven't previously tested.

I actually didn't gave any ratings or reviews until I've tested it first, glad I did.

That's the disadvantage of buying things online. This is one of the reasons I don't prefer online shoping. Hope your charger gets replaced soon.

When it's gadgets and related stuff i just buy it in physical stores, unless that item is not available in malls. I've learned my lesson. Hope it works out for you.

Haven't really done that since the beginning of the pandemic. back then it was the last thing in my mind. Im pretty sure it's more expensive than the one i bought.

This is why I like to buy my electronics in a physical store. The store usually give a certain time to return it.

Maybe I will pay a visit to a computer store some day. So far, my charger is working fine so far. I guess it gave more heat during summer.

Buying them online is such a risky move since you cannot really try it first and test if it will work on your laptop or not. I still prefer going to the stores and bring my laptop before buying them.

That's one weird charger. Normally it would either charge or not charge. It won't give warning on affecting computer performance as well.

Universal chargers tend to be hit or miss. I had one that used to get super hot. If I need a replacment I try to buy from the manufactor if I can.

I doubt this was a universal charger, I was specifically looking for a charger compatible with my laptop. With the covid situation, maybe I could just pay a visit to the computer shop instead.

Sad about that. How we are duped by these online outlets.
