Day 296
Promise 766
Revelation 19:5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye who fear him, both small and great.
6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunders, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigns.
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And he said unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Weddings are a time of celebration and rejoicing with the couple who pledged themselves to each other. You enjoy lots of food and entertainment as you wish the couple a happy long life together.
John witnessed the marriage supper of the Lamb and the bride who wore beautiful white linen, which is the righteousness of the saints.
As Christians, your journey to the marriage supper started when you accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord. Just as you spent time with your spouse before you married, you need to spend time with Jesus, talking to Him. Learning about Him. As you draw closer to Him, you know His heart. You know His likes and dislikes. Your whole purpose is to give Him praise and honor because He chose you.
How do you do that? How do you get to know Jesus so you will be a faithful bride? The more time you spend with Him, the more you will know Him. You can’t do it by spending one hour a week with Him. You know what your spouse likes and dislikes because you spend time with each other. Jesus wants the same from you. When you take time out of your busy day to spend time with Him in prayer and Bible study, you get to know His heart. As you do, you prepare your garments for the wedding feast. Your garments are beautiful, clean, and white because they represent your righteousness in Him.
Are you preparing your garments for the marriage supper of the Lamb? Do you spend time with Him to know His heart?
Let’s pray: Father, You know my heart. You know where my loyalties lie. Help me to spend time with You so I will know You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Thanks for the study. God has planned everything already and we should have our hopes on him only

There was a time in my life that experienced so much hardship but God saves us and touch others hearts to help us out from that hardship. From there, I realize that God uses others to help you to survive. Thank you for this wonderful reminder and prayer. God bless us all
