The Weirdest Thing Happened

I was working on my Notifications; and I had over 40 or 50 to do; so it normally takes me a while.
I was working from the bottom up; and I went to delete the bottom one; and nothing happened...so I went on to the next one. When I came back, the bottom one was gone; so I just continued on. BUT what it was doing was deleting the FIRST ONE in the list as well. So by the time I got about halfway through, I noticed that my list was now almost done!
Unfortunately that means that there will be about 20-25 Notifications that I will never answer because they are gone! I apologize to anyone that will not get an answer on his/her post! I hope this doesn't happen again.
Have you had anything weird like this happen lately?

I have had not a problem with the notifications lately but today each page seems to bounce up and down and I have to refresh the pages often to make replies, I do not know what is going on today,

Wow, yes technology is quite strange at times. I've had some weird glitches too.
I'm sure it was quite frustrating to not be able to work your notifications. I know that you are very thorough.

@LindaOHio If you don't respond, it's not your doing but more like a circumstance out of your control. 
I, for one, would be more worried that something happened to you.

Never did that but I have hit a "mystery key" on my word pad completely erasing my posts and responses.

Ooh. That would irk me. Never had this happen to me and I hope it never DOES happen to me. I hate when I lose a notification even though it's not the end of the world. It even frustrates me if I am away a bit and lose them when they expire after 7 days.

@LindaOHio Even for me, often times I will scroll way, way down to older discussions of mine and answer comments left that I missed. People see them and often ask why I was commenting NOW, only to respond, I always say I eventually get to them all. And do.

I don't think I have ever had anything like that happen. I will accidentally delete one...but not from an issue like that

I’m weird so weird stuff happens to me every day. 
I’ve noticed that “duplication” in the notifications, so I’m careful. I’ve accidentally erased a few thinking I was just deleting an old notification to later discover I had deleted “sent today” AND “new” with that deletion.

Maybe you can go to Follows -- Their Responses or Their Comments and find them that way. But then again that's only for those that follow you.
