A Dog Named Talbot

Yesterday whilst eating at a restaurant, a very cute dog came to say hello and basically eat with me and my friends. We looked at her name tag and it says "Talbot". Strange name for a dog. Her owners were dining at a close by table but she's not getting food from them( they probably were training her). But she looked at us with those puppy dog eyes and food went her way. On our way out the owner said thanks for feeding our dog

We were careful not to feed her any seafood as a lot of dogs are allergic to it. She made our day.

None of our dogs were fed at the table and they did not ask for it either.

@flapiz We have had many dogs in our life but none begged at the table. Could be that we never made a habit right from the start They were given their own food.

You've got well trained dogs then. Our dogs in the Philippines will try to get food by the table specially our little ShihTzu havanese.

I wouldn't eat at a restaurant where dogs are allowed to beg at the table, especially if it was the owners!

It was the neighbouring diners dog. Indoor fine dining one would be a different story this one was outdoors as long as the dog don't bite I'm pretty cool with it.

@flapiz Sorry, I confused the dog owners with the restaurant owners. I guess if the place is 'dog friendly' you might expect some begging going on. I still wouldn't eat there.

Yes that's her photo. She's adorable isn't she. Surprisingly here a lot of places do accept pets specially if they are support pets or if they have outdoor sitting.

Yeah being sociable is why I prefer dogs than kitties sometimes.
