I Just Have Fun: Fray Cover

I don't remember when I actually recorded this one, but it was sometime between 2005 and 2007. Over My Head by The Fray. Kept this one free of bass, but used my FruityLoops software to write the drum track as I recall. Which reminds me, I LOVED FruityLoops and want to buy the software for my new computer. Very soon. Especially since I don't much care for the MIDI sequencing capability of my current new Acid software. Mainly because I don't play a MIDI instrument to make the sounds, and find writing the drum tracks is much easier for me. In any event, without further ado...another pile of crap to bleed your ears if you care to listen.

When you said FruityLoops I instantly thought of the cereal. I enjoyed your cover.

Yeah. Not sure why the creators of that software decided to give it the name FruityLoops. Loops makes sense since it creates musical loops. But fruity? Maybe for sweet? Who knows.

@porwest I will say that it's a catchy name. Maybe that's what they were going for.

Thanks. I generally try to not be an "emulator." But with this one I was trying to get close to the original. Not sure if the song succeeds. But I know I had fun with it.
