Mental peace over proving right....

Do you think mental peace should be weighed more than proving yourself right in any situation...??? I often choose to stay quiet and let the drama run, because sometimes explaining someone a right point also turns into an argument or heated discussion. This mostly happens with my husband, and then I decide to keep my mouth shut and continue to embrace peace.... Do you think it's okay to go this way...???

When it's a heated argument, messages are not well understood. You are wise to keep quiet. But then you need to talk to him later and tell in a calm way about how you feel..You can not keep bolting up. That is not healthy. Take care

It's upto you dear. See to it that it doesn't cause trouble because someday if you wished to speak then it can be misconstrued. I feel if you are right, you should speak up. Fights are bound to happen in any relationship. Have a good day

I would go with you as far as idea of maintaining peace is concerned. It is better to keep quiet when someone (including your partner) is arguing and is not in a mood to listen. Arguments leads us nowhere and bring unnecessary bitterness. Sometimes we should go by the dictum - 'silence is golden'.

@Aansh13 Yes,sometimes silence is the best solution.Eventually the perosn at fault realizes their mistakes.keeping quiet gives enough chance to realize what wrong one did. While heated arguments yeild no results except for unhappiness.
