My cat is missing !!!

I am so devastated...last night my cat wanted to go outside..so we let me go around 7.00pm..he hasn't come back and is nowhere to be found..we looked all over the neighborhood and yards,asked people..nobody seen him...I just know it..something happened to him..yesterday morning he was in a huge cat fight..
What should I do??? help

My cat came back this morning and I am so happy...yesterday was a sad day at my house...my kids were looking around the neighbour hood all day with no luck..they cried and didn't even eat their dinner...
we opened the door this morning and there was our little Max..back home.

Male cats can go off sometimes for days on end. Recently my 10 month old kitten vanished and of course I was really worried about it but after a day, he came back quite all right. Needless to say he was confined to the house after that and only let out during the day when I can keep an eye on him as he's still a bit young to be going off like that.
