We're about a week into June, but that's okay lol. Nothing much has really happened that I needed to post this on June 1st, though next month I'll try to post it earlier.
June is a bittersweet month for me. It’ll always be a bittersweet month, and you’ll figure out why as you continue to read this post.
So, June is the start of summer. I’m not a big fan of the heat, but I do enjoy Independence Day here in the US (next month) and not lugging my coat around (though I’m more of an autumn girl). But we’re halfway through the year, and one month closer to autumn (and while I do enjoy the events, it also means we need to continue to help plan things for my younger sister’s wedding in October).
I don’t really have a lot going on this month in terms of events. I’m hoping NKOTB’s ticket sale goes well on Friday, and my Mom has some follow-up appointments next week (and I’m hoping we get some answers on a few things), but that’s about it.
Sadly, this month is also the 7th Father’s Day without my Daddy, with June 27th being 8 years since he passed away. Yes, he passed away about a week after Father’s Day back in 2013. Now you see why it’s a bittersweet month for me. June has its good points, but the month will always be the month I remember losing the most important man in my life.
But otherwise, hello, June 2021. Please be good to us all. Thank you.

It went fine, thank yooou!
Yesssss. I want autumn and you want winter, and neither of us wants this disgusting, blistering heat lol. Nor do I want the insects that usually come with it, aka mosquitos. We also have those cicadas that come out every 17yrs. Kind of creepy at times, but harmless.
