Day 301
Promise 771
Revelation 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Many religions are work-based. They believe if they do enough good works they will go to heaven. If they live a good life, do no harm to their neighbors, they will go to heaven.
John saw God’s Great White Throne Judgment. This judgment was not for those who accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord, but for all those who rejected Him. He saw the books opened and he saw the book of life opened. John saw the dead stand before God for His judgment according to their works. Then God pronounced His judgment on them and cast them all into the lake of fire where He cast Satan. This is the second death. Eternal separation from God for eternity.
As Christians, your judgment comes when you pass from this life to the next. You don’t face death. You face life and receive the rewards your life of faith earned you.
Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. (KJV)
Will you receive Jesus’ reward for a life well-lived for God? Or will you face God’s judgment? One gives eternal life. The other gives eternal death and separation from God. You have no other choice.
Let’s pray: Father, You know my heart. You know everything about me. Let Your life flow in me so that when I face You, I receive Your rewards for faithfulness and not the judgment of the lost. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Amen! Thank you! It goes hand in hand with another scripture I was just praying on.
" For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." ~ Hebrews 4:12

Yes, I guess a Christian is judged after they die, before they enter Heaven, but the non-Christians, are not judged until the final day.
2 Corinthians, chapter 5, verse 10.
"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad."
