Too much excitement in my life

Sunday morning it was hot and humid here. We are in a heatwave. Al wanted to go to church so off we went. At about the Gospel time I notice something was not right with him. He went comatose on me, totally unresponsive. Lots of church members jumped in to help, police offices, a nurse, and some friends of ours. This was exactly like the episode in Florida 2 years ago. When he wouldn't respond they called an ambulance. This was not my first choice since I pretty much knew he would come out of it but at any rate we ended up at the ER. By the time he was in the ambulance he was awake. I drove my car to the hospital. I called my son Steve the nurse and he met us there. We had to take turns being with Al, only one person allowed with him at time. In 2 hours we were out the door. All his test came back fine, including the CAT scan. The doctor wanted to keep him overnight to monitor his heart, I said no. It was the low blood pressure and dehydration that did him in. Steve agreed with me. Anyway. I ordered lunch at one of our local restaurants and we stopped to pick it upCame home to a delicious meal. I have since searched Google to see if this is something that happens to other people with Parkinson's and I found out yes, it does. And it has an easy cure, he needs to be laid down and his feet raised if possible. In both cases as soon as he was placed on a stretcher he came to so I know this is right. It is scary but not dangerous. Today is our 53 wedding anniversary. It is too hot to go out so I think I will get food delivered, maybe from 99. . My Home Chef order is coming today too, I have some good things coming. Other than that, lots of writing, lots of laundry, and just enjoy time with my husband. It has been a challenging time but I love a challenge. I hope everyone is having a great week.
