Groceries and Starbucks

Happy Saturday (happy weekend) Everyone! it's cloudy here this morning but at least it isn't quite as hot as it's been. I'm happy with the drop in temperatures.
Today is grocery day. We have a pick-up scheduled at Sams Club so I'm just waiting for my daughter to finish her shower and then we'll go.
I've already had my first cup of coffee because I can't get started without that jolt.
Since Starbucks is right near Sams Club we're going to indulge and get one. I'm going to get something yummy and delicious and will forego breakfast for my coffee treat. My daughter has points that will expire soon so I'm happy to accept her offer to get us each a coffee.
After our pick-up at Sams Club we'll stop at the local supermarket and my daughter will run in to pick up her prescription and a few little things we need. Easy peasy especially if she goes through self check-out.
Then the fun begins of bringing it all in the house and putting it all away.
Even though pick-up is easy and saves time I wish there was a way to have it magically unloaded from the car.
The rest of the day is up in the air. No plans but sometimes the days when I have no plans turn out to be the busiest.

Instacart is good for you being on the 3rd floor. Lugging groceries would be hard.
I'm lucky I can pull my car into the garage and it's not to far lugging the stuff inside

Not today, but tomorrow I plan to see Cruella...That should be fun. Quite cool here..not even 70 degrees. We deserve that!

Thankfully our groceries are all put away and we're set for the week. Now it's time for lunch. I have the feeling today is going to fly by.

It sounds like a busy morning. Yes, it would be nice if the groceries would put themselves away.
Remember the animated Sword in the Stone? A little swish of the wrist and everything packed itself and put themselves away, the dishes got washed, and what did the wizard do? Had fun.

That looks like a good fun ahead. Sometimes we bring a lot of groceries in our car and then it takes a lot of trips from ground to our floor.
Now we have not done that since last 2.5 months due to the conditions here and no immediate plans.
Yet we have plans for a short nap and then a nice cup of tea followed by a movie which we plan to complete today.

I prefer Dunkin Donuts coffee over Starbucks as Starbucks is too strong for me. But I do drink Starbucks if that's all that is available to me. I need that first jolt in the morning also. And I know what you mean about having to put the groceries away. I love to grocery shop and use coupons to save money, but I hate to have to unload the groceries and then put them all away.
