My son ordered me this awesome clock for my birthday, and it just arrived (better late than never haha). It's the iconic rock band AC/DC, and the clock is made from a vinyl record. AC/DC is my favorite band of all time, so this was a perfect gift. And very unique. My son was definitely creative in coming up with this idea for a gift. I wonder if I was able to play this record what songs I would hear?
What are some unique or innovative gifts you have received over the years?

That is very cool! So, are you a Bon Scott or a Brian Johnson era fan? (We have a guy on our putting tour named Brian Johnson, and I call him “AC/DC,” and always tell him when he wins, “But I like Bon Scott better.” 
)
About the only really cool gift I’ve received for my birthday is a car, which I bought myself. 
Unless you count the orders to Hawaii, which I got when I re-enlisted on my 23rd birthday…..

Overall, I'm a Bon Scott era fan more, but I love the Brian Johnson era too. I just love their older music which is more of a blues-based rock than today's modern hard rock. But I love it all, and I have every one of their albums, and have seen them more than a dozen times in concert.

@Butterfingers Life is good. I survived Covid, so I am enjoying all that life has to offer. I was so sick I thought I was going to die, so surviving the virus really helped put everything into perspective for me.

What a cool clock! The fact it's made from a vinyl record makes it even more special.

He is a good kid. Well, an adult now, since he recently turned 18. I suspected that my daughter had some say in the choosing of the gift, but when I asked her in private if she helped him, she said he came up with the idea all on his own.

If there was a way I could dismantle the clock in the center, I would try to put the record on my record player and see what songs are on there. But I don't want to damage the clock in any way.

That’s a cool gift. This year I not so unique gifts or innovative but my husband did get me a new coffee maker for Christmas since my other broke. I feel that myself gift of finally getting the kids name tattoo on me is unique it’s self. The artist didn’t say but he might have noticed one of my other tattoos and added a feather to the empty spot on my tattoo.

Wow, a horse and a saddle. That must have been a really awesome gift. I remember growing up how badly I wanted a horse. Of course, we had no place to keep one, but I still wanted one nonetheless.
