The Avocado Lump Crab Salad was very good

My groceries arrived and I immediately went to work making my lunch. It was fast and easy to do. The recipe said that 1 avocado makes 2 servings but I figured that I would definitely need to eat both halves of it so I plated them both up.
It was tasty! Canned crab was absurdly expensive. I looked at the pound of lump crab that I usually get and it was like $30. No way. I scrolled through everything and found half a pound of claw meat for $14. I could handle that. It definitely did have a bit of "fishy" or "ocean" flavor to it but I don't know if that is because it was the cheaper type of crab or if it was because I wasn't cooking it with lots of things like I normally would with a crab cake. I just added an extra squeeze of lime and it was totally fine. Better than fine.
I only needed one half of the avocado to fill me up so I have the other one for tomorrow's lunch. Sweet! This recipe is a keeper.

Glad you enjoyed it. We picked up a can of lump crab meat on sale for $9.99. We must make crab cakes soon. Yum!

I don´t peel the avocado But I cover the usused half with a plastic sheet. That way
i don´t let oxigen in.
