Why not? Here's a photo of the outbuilding that sits behind the house that my hubby and I bought about three years ago.
It's the Sunday of our stay-cation. I pulled wheat flour from the freezer- keeps it fresh- and made some eggy pancakes to start our day. Hubby ground out some fresh peanut butter for our protein. A store peach was very ripe so we had slices of that, too and a little molasses dribbled on.
I'm working on a short story; working toward its middle now. Pretty soon I need to get up and feed some chickens. I will thank the birds for their huge outlay of eggs this Spring.

@RebeccasFarm You are welcome to come stay. When we move we plan to have a guest room down in the first floor of the house. But.... if you like the outbuilding you can sleep there on a cot, not too close to hubby's drill press etc.

Sounds like a good breakfast. I ordered pickling lime to see if I can save the eggs through the winter. Then I wont be so mad at them for free loading.

@DianneN My hubby bought a Scotsman weathervane for me a couple of years ago. I want to find somebody who will mount that weathervane on the roof of the building. The height inside is amazing. Must be 12 foot. We could easily add a loft- when we win the lottery.

@ladyhero I also write poetry. A few pieces of poetry have been published in small presses. Many of my short stories are based in rural settings. I also write stories based on Christmas. I give those stories away to friends and family.

You had a busy day. It rained all night here (I think) and most of today. Anne had a nap on the bed after lunch and I feel asleep in my recliner.
That sounds like a good breakfast. I will bake chicken thighs for dinner.

@sallypup Well, with a chronic cough and cancer treatment, she gets tired. I am baking chicken thighs with onion, carrots and basil/rosemary seasoning from a recipe I found..
