June 13 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a good day. This is the day the LORD has made. I WILL rejoice and be GLAD in it.
I'm thankful I got up when I'm supposed to for Sunday morning. I got my medication, did my Bible study, and then hit the trail.
I'm thankful I went on the trail when I did. I needed my camera. I had one of those left my camera at home moments. A doe crossed the road in front of me on my way back to the apartment. It was awesome. I also had an angry, I think, red-winged blackbird. He hissed at me on the trail and followed me around when I was on my way back to the apartment and no longer on the trail. Moments later, I saw the deer. The red-winged blackbird went back to the trail and the doe disappeared onto the trail. Awesome morning.
I'm thankful I went to church this morning. It was a great service, filled with many hugs.
I'm thankful I got a little more packing done this afternoon. One more shelf on the bookcase cleared. Two to go.
I'm thankful for all the exercise I got today. I still have two hourly steps to get and I'll have met all my goals. I have 118 minutes of exercise so far today.
Okay, that's my day. I still have a lot of notifications. I need to leave for a church plant meeting in one hour. I'm excited about this new church getting started that I'll be part of.

I love when my kids and grandkids come to visit but I can certainly relate to being tired when they leave.

@just4him I appreciate you thinking of us. Everything went according to plan and was such a happy occasion. Yes, I took a video of him doing both blessings. He did a beautiful job except for emphasizing the wrong syllable on one word, but only I noticed. lol

I'm thankful for the rain coming down, having/gathering a lot of items for donations that people need, the plum and cherry trees are full and will be ready soon, the apples are looking great for the fall, the lizard under my mini house came out and "sat" by me not being scared while I was out tending to my tomatoes, and God has been helping put peace in my heart today.

I'm glad you're getting rain. With the plum and cherry trees in bloom, they must be pretty. I'm glad the apple trees are doing well too.
What kind of lizard was it? I'm glad God put peace in your heart and life yesterday and hope you feel the same peace today.

That's amazing that you had a good day.
I'm thankful for the two thunderstorms we got today. I also am thankful I got out in-between them and stayed dry. Sure I worked up a sweat, but that's normal.

My Sunday wasn't very eventful but it was a good day (if that makes sense)
Too bad you didn't have your camera to get some pictures of your encounters along the trail.
I'm sure packing is adding to your daily exercise
