It's gonna be a long hot week.........

Those blast weather peeps are tellin me that we'll be in the triple digits for this whole week. I just wish they were wrong. Well, on the bright side I have more time to mylot, Roscoe is too pooped to do much more than nap, poor baby is hot. He has hogged the vent in here so the room isn't getting very cool but still it's better than the 103f that's outside. I should probably give him a shower, it would cool him down some but then he's not little anymore and he might get too frisky for me to handle. Ok, never mind. Well, I found a video that I think is not only funny but cute ta boot. What do you think?
A puppy howling or a puppy learning to howl is the cutest thing ever. Check out these cute videos of adorable puppies howling. Dogs can be so cute, specially...

I saw how hot it is gonna be out there in the west stay safe! I hope it doesn't come here, but we will likely not be unscathed.

Every few decades we get a year that gives us temps over 110f but at least we don't get the 120f that parts of AZ sometimes gets. I plan to do all my yard work early in the morning then the rest of the day I stay indoors mostly. It works ok for me.

@rebelann As long as your AC holds out all should be good.

I don't really have AC, I have a swamp cooler and it makes it cooler in here than outside but I wouldn't mind if it were cooler than 82f.

Yeah, but I'm used to the triples this time of year as long as it stays under 110f. Yeah, I thought they were so cute and funny.

@rebelann i suspect it takes a while to get to comfort with triples.

If I stayed outside too long yes it would take a while but then over the years I have learned that donning a straw hat and long sleeved white shirts helps a little ...... I'm lucky I can simply stay inside.

That's hight temperature. It's same here in Delhi. It's very difficult to go out in the day time so people avoid it. Now in the morning the temperature is not much and can be tolerated but with the time it increases too much that we have to restrict ourself at home.

Only if I have to, in this heat it's not practical to be outside for very long.

Thunder storms and hail have been forecast for my area tonight. I hope that's hogwash. I can't watch your video cause it would get Rufus scream-barky.

Sorry about your heatwave. At least it's not humid and you have a/c. Funny how dogs always know where the vents are in a house.

Thanks but after 61 years here I'm used to it as long as the humidity stays low.

Thank you. Your heat is worse, you have high humidity. Roscoe went outside and won't come back in, it's finally cooled down a little and he's tired of being couped up in here.

That's sounds comfortable, I only see high 70s in that hour around dawn then it climbs quickly into the 80s and thankfully the last 2 days haven't gotten into the 100s.

I stay indoors in the afternoons. It's too hot to do anything outside unless it's playing with sprinklers. If I did that my neighbors would call the funny farm on me, imagine an overweight old woman standing in the water from a sprinkler ..... around here no one does that, not even the kids.

I hope that the heatwave will break soon for the western states. We are watching the weather as by Sunday afternoon/evening remnants of the tropical depression will be affecting us with a lot of rain.

If only you could send some of that rain our way, the whole southwest could use some rain right about now.

Well, that is dang hot I do not envy you and I'm glad my state has very few days that reach triple digits. Puppies are always cute. Then they grow up! Kind of like babies

Them thar weather peeps were off, it's been in the upper 90s these past couple days, felt good. Not sure if what they predicted for tomorrow will happen, today wasn't so bad but then I stay indoors during the really hot afternoons anyway.

Yeah, but I was taking the advice of the weather peeps, they issued a heat warning and recommended that people should stay indoors in the afternoons. Glad I heeded that advice.

I feel for you. It rarely reaches the tripple digits in Florida, but with the heat index and the humidity it gets well into them. At least today's thunderstorm knocked things down a peg.
