My cell phone would not charge! I had it on the charger for 24 hours! Last time it did this the clerk gave me a new sim card. When I took it to the store, the guy said it was slowly charging, but tried to get me to get another 282.00 phone on promotion and my bill would go up 12.00. The phone will not be free, in that case but it's a good deal. They tried to pressure me , and tell me that would be the best deal since my phone is not working right. But I said I'll just take another charger!! Now my old phone is back working! I'm so used to this one!! But long story short, thank goodness my cell phone is working! Have you ever given in to high pressure sales tactics!

NO, I never do, the batteries do not last forever and changing the SIM card to help charge faster showed that the clerk is an incompetent.

@db20747 Why should a battery charge if you change the SIM card? This is simply ridiculous. I have a phone without a SIM card, because I use it only to take photos, but the battery charges, even without the SIM. You do not need to have the SIM installed to charge a phone.

@LadyDuck no, that was the first time the phone didn't work. They gave me a new sim card. This time it was the charger

The first time the phone didn't work he gave me a new sim card. The second time it didn't work, the clerk tried to sell me an expensive phone.

No. I am smarter than that. It's a sale's person's job to sell you the higher priced items, because they make more. Most sales clerks are paid on comission. They get a percentage of their overall sales. If a sale's person is piling on the preasure, it's a good reason why.

Yes for sure , they're trained to upsell and get more money out of the customer. The charger costed me only10.00 and is working well

Yes, the charger costs 10.00! Saved me a lot of money! Don't know how I would get out of that higher bill, don't want to get trapped in that higher bill

Nope, I generally don't when it comes to those things. I am glad you were able to find a way to still use your usable phone!

This certainly saves from the hassle of sales clerks trying to make you buy extra things
