I didn't realize how late it was until about forty-five minutes when I realized that she child was still up. It doesn't really matter how late she stays up since it's the summer, but I still don't really want her to stay up all night.
I try to get her into bed by 11 even during the summer. 800 is her bedtime during school time. So yeah.
Anyhoo, it rained off and on all weekend, and we have a hurricane possibly coming out way.So yay, Florida!
Anyhoo. We didn't really get much done this weekend, but they can't all be winners now can they.
I figured I would post something, since I haven't really been around much. But I am realizing I don't have a lot to say. I have a couple recent sketches to share, which I will do in a little bit, after I get them shared on Facebook, I've shared on on IG already.
Buuuut until then, enjoy this picture from a nature hike we took a couple months ago.

First Hurricane of the season eh? Guess that's where the rain's coming from. Yay.... Can't complain. We need it.

@thislittlepennyearns What they really don't need. But, I don't blame you. My husband and I are pretty much always prepared.

I think its gonna go towards LA more. But we will still get prepared

You know what they say, "Time flies when You're having fun!" You guys must be having fun. My kids are grown, but I did let them stay up late during the summer too. How old is the "she child"?

She turned 8 in March.

@thislittlepennyearns That is still a fun age. My kids are all grown...30, 26 and 26 (twin girls).
