Yes I Am Showing Off Once Again

I know I keep talking about these tree swallow baby birds in my backyard bluebird house. But I cannot help it. I look forward to this process each year.
Just got the big Nikon camera out and tried a few photos with the tripod. Got some better ones. But still got dive bombed by the parents. Had to be quick.
I saw their eyes, their little feet and their wings for the first time. So excited. I saw four at one time peeking out. I know there are five babies in the box. The runt (the one born a day later) is probably at the bottom, but he/she will be ok.
Look how pretty the Momma is. Even though she will chase me around the yard, 
, she is a beauty. And a good Momma. Stay tuned. They will be leaving soon.

@CarolDM I'll admit. I can only roughly see the house, but love hearing your discriptions of what you see inside. I find it funny the birds see the camera as a threat, too.

Wow, they sure are growing fast! Once they get big enough to leave the nest and/or nesting season is over, where do those birds go? Are they migratory?

I would not call it showing off at all. It is something you are very passionate about and those that understand will see that. That is cool that you wanted to go all out in taking their pictures. It was important to you. I think through your love of birds I started to appreciate them more. Before they were not important to me. Now, I enjoy them except that they snubbed my cat when she talked to them and ignored her so not happy about that.
