Do you wonder why it's called Rush Hour??!!!

It is funny. Everyone rushes to a stop.

thats why I refer to it as peak hour... where traffic is at its peak i.e. busiest

Peak hours in the mornings and evenings are when everyone is rushing to his office/ home, therefore, it is called rush hours.

Rush means hurry so rush hour means when every one is in hurry to commute from office to home or vice versa. It may also called congestion.

When everyone wants to rush at the same time it only clogs!

That's why I lazy out at peak hour

It's called rush hour, because that's the time of day when everyone happens to feel the need to be on a certian streach of road at the same time. While it's jam packed at times and traffic jams happens. the "rush" in rush hour refers to the idea that that particular time of day people feel the need to be on the road. Mostly due to the fact they are out of work and are in a hurry to be anywhere else but their job site. when you have so many people feeling that urge... that's a "rush".
