Good Tuesday afternoon to you, So, I just got home from work thought I would drop a line or two on you all. Hope your day is going well. The news in Chicago is trying to sell that there were two mass shootings in Chicago this weekend. I don’t know what the proper definition is for Mass Shooting but when I think of it, I just think about some stranger going in and shooting up a school or business, something like that. I really don’t think it should be called out when it is a family and friends shooting each other. On Sunday morning there was a shooting in Englewood neighborhood, for those of you who know Chicago this is known as, let’s say a not so good neighborhood so a shooting there is not a surprise at all. Within one house 4 people were killed and several taken to area hospitals with different injuries. Odd thing about this is that the mayor spoke up about this. So, if you remember back when Trump was president, she didn’t want federal assistance of cleaning up Chicago but now she is saying she needs the federal government to get involved because cities just can’t do anything about it. Which is it you can take care of it, or the federal government needs to help? She also brought up needing more gun laws, but the story says how all guns recovered at the scene were not registered to anyone at the scene. That would mean they were illegal, meaning they broke the law to get those guns. So how are more laws going to change anything? I don’t get the idea that making more laws are going to get criminals to change. If they are already breaking the law do you really think making more laws are going to change anything, they are going to start following the laws then?
