Face To Face vs. Online

Often, I think about my friends. Which ones are better. Face to Face vs. Online.
My face to face friends are often mean, hateful and spiteful. They do not keep conversations to themselves but spread the conversations to a zillion people.
My online friends are wonderful to vent to, give advice and all-around nice.
What is your opinion?

I am with you, so far for me online friends are best. But one thing we do know how they are personally, and as long as we don't meet them it's fine

There are pros and cons. I know there are a lot of fakes online. I'm not saying on myLot, but in general. But we have that in real life and face to face too. I have found that I have fewer and fewer real life friends since we moved out in the boonies, but I know who my true friends really are. They have kept in touch.

With real friends is always going to be different. Internet friends show you only what they want you to see. You can't see their facial expressions and read their body language while you chat.
Real life friends have a physical history with you.
Online friends can be whoever they want to be in exchanges with you.

I have a love and hate relationship with going on Twitter since a lot of the people that tweet "Good morning and God bless" never answer my tweet when I tell them "Likewise."

You took the words right out of my mouth! Online friends, I confide in them with total trust. So called friends throw rocks, when I don't do things perfect. And spread lies, things that cut to the heart! I am tea totally honest online. With others I know, I'd be stupid to share with them!

My only fear are creepers. For example, when my Facebook account got hacked. However, since I bought this laptop from my landlord, no creepers. Amen.
